Walking blind you open my eyes, to what is true and pure.
You pulled me from the pain that kept me bound in chains,
and led me to a love,
that opened my wings up.

You pulled me from the torment that ruled my world,
and set my feet on firm ground.
You held my heart in the palm of your hand,
while the light poured through my crumbling walls.

This is my pledge to the one who holds me at night.
The one who makes me see the side of me, that can be beautiful.
The one who was always there, you taught me how to fly,
and gave me a place in your heart to dwell.
